The name Persona is synonymous with iconic music. From the foundational themes in the first Persona to the sizzling hot songs that made Persona 5 an instant classic, Atlus Sound Team’s catchy soundtracks are now woven into the very fabric of not just JRPG history, but video game history as a whole. 

As such, iam8bit can think of no better way to celebrate the momentous milestone of thirty years than with a compilation album of Persona’s greatest hits. But this is no mere “best-of” album; we’ve teamed up with our friends at Atlus to produce something truly worthy of the name Persona, a once-in-a-generation commemoration of one of gaming’s most legendary franchises. 

This is the Persona 30th Anniversary Jazz Album, a one-disc compilation packed with Persona’s greatest tracks covered by the mad jazz geniuses The Blueshift Big Band. They’ve reimagined fan-favorite Persona tracks like “Heaven,” “Last Surprise,” and of course, “Aria of the Soul” through their signature soulful, syncopated lens. For this special iam8bit Edition, we’ve pressed it on beautiful 180 Gram Black vinyl, a nod to the series’ recurring winged figure. 

For the album art, we tapped award-winning illustrator and iam8bit friend Mark Borgions to imagine a jazz band composed of Persona’s beloved cast. The result? Nothing less than a crown jewel to complement the entire iam8bit x Persona vinyl collection. This is the very definition of a must-have.
